Your playing or humming warps the fabric of reality and becomes a mind-warping keen of sound that makes thought and action difficult.
While the keen is in effect, everyone within the spell's radius takes 1d10 points of sonic subdual damage per round, and must make a Fortitude save at the beginning of their turn. Failure indicates that they may only take a partial action thar round. Success allows them to take a full action, and halves the damage suffered. The keen effectively blinds a creature relying on blindsight, and causes other spellcasters to be effectively deafened for purposes of casting spells with verbal components.
Note that the caster is by no means immune to the keen himself, although he is not deafened and need not make any special concentration check to continue the spell. He may stop playing or humming whenever he wishes.
