Increasing Returns
This is the first anniversary issue of the Bu Jin Design online newsletter, and while we have planned no celebratory bells and whistles, we nevertheless are pleased to make it available.
I would like to thank the many individuals who kindly took time to respond to our request for suggestions and feedback about the newsletter. We appreciate the positive comments and are pleased to know that we seem to be on the right track. We know, too, that there is always room for improvement, so over time we will be implementing some of your very helpful suggestions, and we're working on a few surprises of our own. This month we've made some subtle upgrades to the navigation and appearance of the newsletter pages.
It is our hope that the newsletter contributes in a useful way to the martial arts information stream and to the communication process in general. In the areas of communication, community, and in the physical transmission of the martial arts, I am convinced that the law of increasing returns not only applies, but does so vibrantly.
As we share information, ideas and techniques, each of us processes input differently and creates something new. The more of this we share, the more it touches others, and the more it comes back - to each and every one of us.
