Elves

Elves

Elves are unique in Twingate. There are no elven cities, no elven nations. In fact, nobody really seems to know where the elves came from. It is not uncommon for young elves, with the bearing and build of an eight or nine-year-old child, to be seen with their presumed parents, but elven babies are practically unheard of. Elves tend to avoid questions about their childhoods.

There are three known elven subtypes:

Snow elves -- pale and delicate, these are the most common type of elves. They favor Bard as a class, and devote themselves in equal parts to magic and art. Snow elves are the only elven racial type playable as PCs. (Yes, this changes the PhB elf, but it makes more sense, and there are no elves in the party who'd be hurt by such a ruling.)

Sky elves -- with skin that ranges from pale blue to cerulean, these elves are powerful and aristocratic. Snow elves treat them with deference and respect. They are most likely the closest thing that elves have to royalty. They are rare -- for every thousand snow elves, there is perhaps one sky elf. Also known as Blood Elves.

Twilight elves -- bald and dark-skinned (gray, not brown), these elves are physical powerhouses. Their eyes have no pupils, though they seem to see fine without them. It is unknown what class they favor, though it is doubtless either fighter or monk. They seldom speak, and are either respected or feared as stoic defenders or vicious killers.

In Paving the Road to Hell, a group of Sky and Twilight elves merged together, forming True Ta'bar'Pur.
