Little is known about the halflings. They are peaceful, and live with the gnomes in small villages in the East Kingsteeth. They keep to themselves as a people, do not generally cause trouble, and seem to survive by being cunning and canny in the dangerous mountains.
"Squeak" is a derogatory term for a halfling. Anyone wishing to start a fight with a halfling can start there.
