This award was given to the party after their triumph over the raiders in Glain (see Season Two in the CompleteListing). It was a political statement, given that the award was given not military but civilian, in essence supporting the party's actions as individuals and not their officially sanctioned role.

Awarded To: Guardsmen of any branch. Many of the high-ranking members of the guard have this medal.
Armsmaster Dalin wears his proudly, and Karilon has one as well, though you've only seen it worn on formal occasions.
