One of the DemonWood towns, Glain is under the control of the Sworn, OathMaker priests who govern the towns.
Glain's main claim to fame is that it was under attacks in Eimon, 2971 -- Season Two in the CompleteListing. The party investigated the attacks, and discovered the religious conflict between the FirmOrder and the JustOrder. Gryff was also set up for a murder that he did, in fact, commit, but it was more complicated, since the thing he murdered might have been a devil. While the party eventually drove off the raiders who were being hired by the FirmOrder to stage attacks on the town, they were unable to really end the conflict. The FirmOrder and JustOrder are now co-existing uneasily. It is likely that similar conflicts are going on around the DemonWood towns.
