Sanjun is the country in which TwinGate is situated. TwinGate is in the far north of the country, relatively isolated from the political pressures of the SouthLands.
The Sanjuin opinion of the TwinGate area is generally that it is a savage wilderness, and best left alone by civilized folk. Consequently, the area has a fair amount of autonomy.
