What happened to the skins?

With Tierney's contact in the Shadowglove pointing the party to the magic shop, and the magic shop proprieter pointing them to the Tannery, the party goes to the Tannery to try and meet with the Shadowglove leaders and get them to stop undermining the JustOrder's control. What they end up with, though, is a deadly ambush.

Plot Points:

• The Tannery is guarded by some form of evil undead. They look like flayed zombies, but regenerate and are much more vicious.

Unanswered Questions:

• What kind of zombies are those?
• What happened to the skins?

DMP Speaks:

Lots of nasties in this episode. Picture skinless zombies who claw you with their bony fingers, and you've got the FlayedMen. And getting Leny and Gryff and Kaelith -- basically all the fighters and undead-turners -- to wait outside? That's just classic.

What about the half-orc that they said they'd guard?

Well, it wasn't a continuity error. They got so caught up in all the excitement that they totally forgot about him. Be surprising if something bad didn't happen because of that...

Why do they keep going? They're injured and almost out of spells?

Got me. I'd have headed back to the temple for healing. But, you know, there's that mindset... well, we're still conscious, let's go! And the party has that. And it's not always a good thing.
