The assault on the pit fiend continues. Tierney activates a strange artifact which petrifies the pit fiend and sends it to another plane. Later the party discovers the Soul Forge, and use it to become more powerful.
I understand now... and I have come into my own. The power...it is great, but I can't help but feel that something of my humanity has been the cost of this... realization. Grah. It doesn't matter. There's work to be done. But when it's through... I've lived little enough of my former life... I shall experience this one to the fullest, whatever I turn out to be.
Mike: I'm gonna cast Holy Word.
Patrick (dramatically): Sendant walks up and conjures from his mouth words of ancient power--
Mike: Wait, wait, maybe I'll do something else.
Patrick: ...Oh.
Timus (recovering from Daze): Sendant, I'm poisoned...
Tony: Round 20, Tim has to make a Fort save.
