Arlemis Davidion began ranging in the Goldenwood and Demonwood forests at a young age. He joined the Twingate Guard hoping to join the elite Scouts and explore the wilderness to the north of Twingate but ended up as part of the Bordermen. Arly soon discovered that he had a knack for sneaking around indoors as well as outdoors.
There may or may not have been sexual tension between Arlemis and Leny, especially after Tierney Through the Looking Glass.
After "Wild Accusations and Stabs in the Dark", Arlemis was given command of a small troop of Scouts. However, another mission draws him away from his post, leading him into the hands of the BlackPillar. He now finds himself as the party's lockpick and trap detector.
His mother was killed during a caravan raid between the third and fourth seasons. Some say it was an attack by mind flayers.
Arly has been undergoing some mysterious changes, and has a special hatred for aberrations of all types, especially agents of the Ta'bar'pur. He appears to be particularly effective against them and can sense their presence.
At the end of the fourth season, Arly became Lord Davidion, Protector of the Demonwood thanks to a Deck of Many Things.
In the beginning of the fifth season, Arly's soul was trapped in exchange for Tierney's in the castle of the Penumbral Lord. Tierney's Claw of Chaos took over Arly's body until he and some of the party were defeated, captured, and stripped of their items. Arly's soul was returned to his body thanks to a strange Cryptlord artifact.
The Soul Forge turned Arly into a full-fledged Ta'bar'pur Slayer, and as such is an undead creature, powered by the dark energies of the Cryptlord. However, Arly was destroyed in Ashes to Ashes after a Mass Heal weakened him enough for a Del'teel to finish him off. He was True Resurrected by Tierney, and is a Ta'bar'pur Hunter serving the Temptress.
Hiding somewhere within Arly is the remaining essence of the Penumbral Lord, who has asked to be used as a final weapon against the Ta'bar'pur. His actual motives are still unknown.
