Tierney Through the Looking Glass

At the party being thrown in TwingateKeep in their honor, Tierney goes on a little thieving mission based on a dream he had. When he steals a chesspiece from a chessboard of unique manufacture in a closely guarded room, magical catastrophe strikes. A moment later, Tierney is in a world with some farmiliar faces in unfamiliar costumes. And everything is different.

• The evil twins of everyone.
• The return of Salin.

Plot Points:

• We appear to be in an alternate universe.
• Timus goes by Drake, and is a half-dragon.
• Gryff and Kaelith are effectively unchanged, although Kaelith now worships the CryptLord.
• Arlemis and Leny work for the BlackPillar, and are an item.

Unanswered Questions:

• What are the Ta'bar'pur?
• How did the chesspiece cause this?
• How did all the people get to this location?

Analysis:

The Ta'bar'pur control Twingate. The humans are mostly controlled, except for the BlackPillar, which, after the death of the Good Gods, is the closest thing the humans have to a savior.
