The infiltration of the Library of Ironpass begins. Tierney talks two of the key guardians into relinquishing their keys without incident, while Timus uses his own method of negotiation (a Cone of Cold spell) to extract the key from a fire giant. Using the keys, the party heads to the third floor, where they find a deck of cards and a ring atop an altar.

• Sendant's brother is a high ranking offical in the Black Pillar hierarchy.
• The three guardians were a fire giant flanked by two roguish goblins, a red dragon, and two efreeti.

So... those aren't signs of demonic blood? I mean, it goes with all the baby-eating and all that. I guess I can see where one could confuse demonic ancestry with dragonic ancestry. Both involve baby-eating.
