The Mentor led the FistClan, a group of goblins in Salin's keep in the first season. He was training the goblins in the monastic tradition, although the end goal of his training is uncertain. He was defeated by the party, though he defeated Gryff and Arly in single combat first. After his defeat, Lome saved him from death, and he eventually escaped. He has not been seen since.
The Mentor's distinguishing characteristics included a large serpent tattoo across his torso, and his utter silence. The man never spoke.
