This is the largest and closest large body of water. While there are several lakes in the area, the WhiteBay is the nearest ocean. It lies to the north of the BlastedLands, and is said to be inhabited by great and powerful creatures. Giant fish, or sea dragons, or krakens. No one in TwinGate knows what rumors to believe.
The great Northern City lies up near the White Bay. During an accidental teleport to the North, Timus and Gryffid were controlled by some force and compelled to walk northward. If Tierney and Arly hadn't stopped them, it might have gotten ugly.
According to Nyralla, the rulers of the land to the north have a relationship with the dragons. They also possess a powerful magical item, the Sebereich -- which may or may not be the source of their mind-control powers.
Recently, the Northern City was threatened, possibly by the Penumbral Lord, who ordered that the Sebereich be given to him -- otherwise, he declared that he would blot out the sun and kill every living creature in the city.
