Race: Human Occupation: Assassin/Bounty Hunter Worships: Wild One First Encountered: Children (and paladins) of a Much Lesser God Joined Party: Shelf Life Emcee Hartsdotter was an assassin originally sent to kill the party -- one of many, in fact. She was unsuccessful, and eventually allied briefly with Tierney when they were both trapped under a collapsed wall. After giving up on the bounty, she left for parts unknown, and reappeared briefly to help the party in their fight against the dragon in "Shelf Life". When the party found themselves captured by Simon, the BlackPillar lord unexpectedly released Emcee for some unknown reason. She later helped the party get out from under Simon's power, and began dating Tierney. The relationship with Tierney has not always been comfortable, but the two are at this time still together. Emcee has helped the group on several occasions, either joining the party or using her underground connections to get information. Most recently, she joined the party to help rescue Sendant and Arlemis from the Penumbral Lord... or whoever. Emcee uses a pair of crystalline daggers that appear to be imbedded in her skin. Or at least, used to use them. She recently started using a pair of ordinary (well, magical) punching daggers instead. The reason is unknown. For a bounty hunter and assassin, Emcee seems to have a pretty good sense of humor. She's not up for paladin status any time soon, but Tierney has definitely had an effect on her, and she's definitely not working for evil. She's all but left her assassin status behind. |
