This is the third and final part of Spell and Silence.
So this episode basically opens with everyone strapped down and prepped for torture. People are led off to be tortured and/or killed in their own special ways. Wackiness (or is that Warriness) ensues, Tim's escape attempt gets him royally smacked (and Nil into more trouble, but no one shed any real tears except perhaps Nil). Aldea is freed by someone who seemed to know rather a lot about all involved parties, perhaps the individual sent to administer Love's Gasp? Eventually everyone gets everyone else (except Nil) free, including the target madman who was conveniently in a nearby administrative cell, and a mad dash to the entrance ensues. Warri volunteers to hold off the ensuing hordes while Tim teleports everyone else away (sheesh, he must be insane! (*cough*)). But, just before he's overrun, Tim snags him back to Twingate.
The Black Pillar is onto us, as least insofar as they managed to get a mole into our midst.
Nilendas repeatedly insists that he didn't do anything directly offensive to the party or the prison. Though he certainly managed to offend them, wot with carrying around that Black Pillar holy symbol and all, and that's probably what removed their qualms about beating him to a bloody pulp.
Boy, Karilon really fucked this one up. Why the hell did he send us spellcasters in on a mission to a fraznilling magic warded dungeon? How did Nil end up in our party? I think he's either increasingly incompetent, uniformed, or actively working against Duke Eledin's interests. This is the last mission I'm going on for him.
Wat the hell is with this prison and this party anyway? Why does everyone shoot first and ask questions later?
