Plot Page
There's some big, huge stuff going on, and I thought it might be good to have a central location for it.
Important Stuff:
Facts, Suppositions, Hypotheses:
Note from Pat: This is how I thought to organize it, which, really, is not at all. If people want to come in and clean things up (put stuff under headers saying DRAGON or ELEDIN or whatever, go ahead. I was just getting things rolling...
- Fact: Someone is altering minds to cause an insurrection against Duke Eledin (A Little Knight Music)
- Supposition: Baelin, one of the TBP, is behind, or partly behind, this plot. (ibid)
- Fact: Baelin has some interest in getting into the Chess Room. (ibid)
- Supposition: The old story from the dragon scroll is a metaphor for the creation of the universe. In this story, three proto-deities fight. One is killed, and all that is left of him are three artifacts. The last two split, either voluntarily or involuntarily. (Plot, Interrupted)
- Fact: The twingate dragons are looking for a stone. (Spiked Chains and Fireballs and Death Knells, Oh My!, as well as Dragon Drop and Of all the things I've lost
- Supposition: The stone in question could be either one of the artifacts formed from Ura, or a lesser item that points to one of the artifacts. (One Lie Leads to Another and Plot, Interrupted)
- Supposition: Ambassador Fayel has something to do with Duke Eledin and a game of chess, which in turn has something to do with the TBP. (Abort, Retry, Fayel)
- Fact: Elves are not born. Instead, they come from some other place. (Plot, Interrupted)
- Hypothesis: Elves are somehow related to the whole deal?
Currently unconnected but interesting:
Sendant talked to a man who said something about goblins. The man was subsequently killed. Sendant was later targetted for death, and a warehouse was converted into a facsimile of his home. A Thon'ri was apparently behind the attempt to kill Sendant, implying that this information is important.(There's No Place Like Home... No, Really)
In the East Kingsteeth, there's an artifact that has something to do with TBP-spawn. What this artifact does is unclear. (Mission: Irresponsible, and see also Shevak the Mad) According to Simon, the artifact is some sort of magical engine which can amplify spells. Tierney activated the artifact using the body of a Thon'Ri in Why Can't We Be Friends?, and ended up transporting the party to a currently unknown location when he asked it to show him a TBP nexus.
Baelin is suspected of inciting the recent anti-sorcerer sentiment. Could sorcerers be some sort of threat to the TBP? If so, how?
